M4 WOODWORKING

            I started making cutting boards on July 30th, 2017. This was my birthday when I asked for my first table saw. At that point, I knew that I didn't want to work in a store, but run my own business as a woodworker. I started by making end grain cutting boards. End grain is the end of the wood cut up into strips and then turned 90 degrees so that the end of the wood is facing up. I will sand all of my boards up to a 400 grit sand paper so that it is buttery smooth to the touch. I have created many designs over the years and I am still creating even more to add to the endless possibilities. I have also made many cheese boards which is the long grain of the wood. This type of board will not hide the knife marks as well, but they are less expensive and generally have cool line designs integrated into them. Most of my cutting boards include a pattern. The pattern will consist of different types of wood glued together to create a design such as a checkerboard. I am also getting into bench and table builds using live edge slabs with water fall legs.
